February 14 is Valentine’s Day and love is in the air. Love is on the stamps, too! The Stamp of the Month was issued by France in 2000 to honor graphic design artist Raymond Peynet. Peynet, who died in 1999, was famous for his works featuring lovers. Many of his designs appeared in advertisements and book illustrations.
