The APS Has Something for Everyone

Whether you are a beginning collector or have collected for years, we welcome you to join the more than 35,000 members of the APS. Joining the APS provides services and educational opportunities to broaden your interests and enhance your collecting enjoyment!

Once you apply for membership, member prices and most member services are available to you within a week, including our online StampStore. You will be mailed an acknowledgment letter which will include your membership number, information about APS Stamp Insurance, special interest collecting groups, and the Quick Guide to APS Services with staff contact information.

During the application process notice of your application is published in the Membership Report in our monthly magazine, The American Philatelist. As copy for next month's issue is already in press, your name will appear in the Membership Report in the following month's magazine. Your magazine subscription will begin with that issue and your application will be considered for formal approval at the end of that same month.

When your admittance to membership has been finalized you will have access to all membership services, and you will receive a permanent membership card as well as a Member Service Handbook that provides detailed information about all of our services.
